Delivery Drive

Location: Whanganui, New Zealand

Pay: $25 - $35 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary: 

Sandhu 1313 Transport Limited proudly operates as a key delivery service in Whanganui, serving businesses and individuals with reliable and timely transport solutions. We are passionate about delivering goods efficiently and safely to meet our clients’ needs. To support our growing operations, we are now looking for a motivated and hardworking 2 x Delivery Drivers to join our team. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Route Planning & Delivery Execution: 

• Determine delivery destinations and plan the most efficient routes. 

• Safely maneuver delivery vehicles to and from destinations. 

Loading & Unloading: 

• Assist with loading goods, ensuring they are secured safely and arranged for ease of delivery. 

• Perform unloading operations and obtain proof of delivery from recipients. 

Documentation & Customer Interaction: 

• Verify loading documents and delivery instructions. 

• May receive payments and manage accounts upon delivery. 

• Maintain positive and professional interactions with clients. 

Vehicle Maintenance: 

• Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance or repair needs promptly. 

Requirements: 

• Must have a Class 1 full NZ licence (or equal); Class 2 is a bonus. 

• Much have F endorsement, endorsement D (Dangerous Goods) 

• At least 1 year of relevant driving experience. 

• Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations. 

• Physically fit and able to lift and move goods as required. 

• Strong time management and communication skills. 

• Available to work on roster shifts 

• Flexible to work on weekend, or evening shifts.
